DESCRIPTION:What can you expect?\n\n\n\nDoors open at 6pm\, with presentations starting promptly at 7pm. \n\n\n\nHere’s what happened last time\n\n\n\nDuring the meeting\, we were honored to hear from Beyond Housing\, our funded charity from last quarter\, and we proudly presented them with their well-deserved big cheque\, totalling $11\,364! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe then had the privilege of hearing from three more amazing local charities: \n\n\n\n\nUnwrap Theatre: Untold Stories by Unheard Voices for Underserved communities\n\n\n\nCambridge Shelter Corp: A medical shelter serving unhoused adults before & after medical procedures\n\n\n\nCommunity Healthcaring: We believe in the dignity of accessing food for everybody\n\n\n\n\nThe presentations were all engaging and informative\, leaving a lasting impact on all those who attended. \n\n\n\nWe are pleased to announce that Community Healthcaring was voted as our funded charity for this quarter! \n\n\n\n👉 Learn more about how this Pay-what-you-can food market in Kitchener seeks to improve food accessibility | CBC News. \n\n\n\nSince our inaugural June 2015 meeting\, 100 Men Who Give a Damn Waterloo Region \n\n\n\nhas raised $503\,824 for local charities!
