DESCRIPTION:What can you expect?\n\n\n\nDoors open at 6pm\, with presentations starting promptly at 7pm. \n\n\n\nHere’s what happened last time:\n\n\n\nDuring the meeting\, we were honored to hear from Community Justice Initiative\, our funded charity from last quarter\, and we proudly presented them with their well-deserved big cheque\, totalling $11\,866! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe then had the privilege of hearing from three more amazing local charities: \n\n\n\n\nThe Registry Theatre: Where community performance thrives\n\n\n\nWomen’s Crisis Services: Engaging Men: Supporting men to build safer relationships and break cycles of violence.\n\n\n\nKiwanis Music Education Fund: Opening doors to music education.\n\n\n\n\nThe presentations were all engaging and informative\, leaving a lasting impact on all those who attended. \n\n\n\nWe are pleased to announce that Women’s Crisis Services: Engaging Men was voted as our funded charity for this quarter! \n\n\n\n👉 Learn more about how this KW-based Engaging Men program helps break cycle of domestic abuse | CBC News. \n\n\n\nSince our inaugural June 2015 meeting\, 100 Men Who Give a Damn Waterloo Region has raised $479\,003 for local charities! \n\n\n\nOur Presenting Charities – Jan 22\, 2026
